"Looking Over Your Shoulder"
6th grader
Youth 1: She looks sad and the community looks sad. She is probably just thinking, “Why do I have to live here? Why can’t they just change it?” She looks nervous. You don’t know what could happen. Like someone could just pop up and hurt you.
Youth 2: She’s like checking over her shoulder. Seeing if people are behind her. Implementer 1: Why aren’t some of you allowed to walk around after dark?
Youth 2: Because a lot of things begin happening then.
Youth 3: Bad things. Shootings. |
