Nashville Public Radio is seeking a morning host/reporter.
The ideal candidate has an insatiable curiosity; strong voice and friendly delivery that fits seamlessly into NPR’s Morning Edition; an ability to produce well-written, contextual news spots, with sound while on-air; and a desire to complete sound-rich features. This position requires a highly productive individual, with a grasp of how global issues connect to the Middle Tennessee region. On-air fundraising, digital editing, and exceptional board operation skills a must. Experience hosting NPR programs at a member station a plus, but equivalent experience will be considered. Bachelor’s degree required. Must have reliable transportation. Competitive salary commensurate with experience and excellent benefits offered.
