According to Travel + Leisure Magazine, it’s Nashville’s current crop of “enterprising chefs” that makes our city one of the “best places to travel in 2014”.
Nashville is one of the only American cities chosen for the Travel + Leisure list, which also includes destinations as varied as Iceland and Vinh Hy Bay, Vietnam. And it’s one of the only picks that cites food as the primary reason to visit.
The Trend Continues
A recent piece from Zagat named a Nashville restaurant one of the “25 most anticipated openings of 2014”. It’s called Prima, a soon-to-open fine dining place in The Gulch, from Burger Up owner Miranda Whitcomb Pontes and chef Sal Avila.
Come for the music, stay for the food. Or is it the other way around?
